About Me

Linda Campos

Originally from Cd. Altamirano Gro. She studied at the Higher School of Tourism, obtaining the Degree of Planning and Tourism Development. Yet exercising her professional career, her taste for painting, led her to be trained in Institutions of Art and Culture, as well as in various workshops of recognized teachers. In her work we can enter a world of feelings and emotions that remain trapped in a unique and precise outline, to a more schematic and structured composition. Her watercolours is purposeful and novel, since it is intervened with metallic sheet in gold and silver, which gives it a luminous effect that makes it different from traditional watercolours, in it mainly represents themes alluding to Nature such as birds, cats, steeds etc. Although its theme is diverse in terms of oil and acrylic, it tends more to represent the mystical and spiritual aspect, outside of earthly formalities and taken rather to a cosmic and oneiric plane. She has participated in several group exhibitions, the most relevant being the Museum Nacional de la Acuarela, in which she was awarded an honorable mention for her work "En Waiting ", in 2000, likewise in 2005 at the Museo del Carmen it won recognition with the work "Still Life".

Originaria de Cd. Altamirano Gro.
